Verizon Go Unlimited to Include Service in Canada, Mexico

Are yous planning a jaunt to Canada or Mexico? If you're on Verizon's Go Unlimited plan, you lot won't have to worry nearly extra talk, text, and data charges during your trip.

Mexico and Canada will be included in the Go Unlimited plan starting Jan. 25. Currently, Become Unlimited customers traveling to Canada and United mexican states need to become a TravelPass, which costs $5 per solar day, to stay connected.

But don't expect unfettered admission to high-speed data. Verizon said that users' access to 4G LTE data in United mexican states and Canada will be "capped at 500MB per day." After you eat through that, Verizon will throttle your connection to 2G speeds until the adjacent day.

Mexico and Canada are already included in Verizon'south Beyond Unlimited plan.

The visitor introduced Go Unlimited and Beyond Unlimited in August. With Go Unlimited, Verizon throttles all smartphone video streaming to DVD-quality 480p and caps tablet streaming at 720p. Beyond Unlimited offers 720p streams on your smartphone and full Hard disk drive 1080p streams on your tablet. Go Unlimited Programme costs $75 for a unmarried line and Beyond Unlimited is $10 more at $85 a month.
